Maryborough. The side wall of the courthouse which faces into Queens Park.Designed by the government architect Francis Stanley in 1877. It replaced the original 1860 courthouse.

Maryborough. Entrance to Customs House Hotel. Built in 1868 and then extended in 1870 when the Gympie goldfields were going. Extended again in 1883 and Art Deco stained glass windows added in early 20th century.

Maryborough. Fred Monsours Silk Shop. He came to Maryborough from Beirut in the 1890s. Built this warehouse shop in 1923. Fred had another shop at 297 Kent St in a former bank. Now owned by Dr Monsour as a surgery.

Bundaberg. Hinkler House. Built in 1925 in Southhampton for Bert Hinkler the aviator who was the first to fly solo from England to Australia in 1928. His house was removed and rebuilt in Budaberg Botanic Gardens in 1983.

North Adelaide. Entrance to the chapel added to Bishops Court residence in 1912. Bishops Court was occupied from 1856. Note bishop's mitre and motto in stone above the door.

Blackwood. Gamble Cottage was built in 1902. In 1982 it was bequeathed to the City of Mitcham. It is now run as a cottage garden by the Friends of Gamble Garden. Garden beds are in their original shape.

Medindie Adelaide. The Myrtles. Surveyor General George Goyder built a cottage here in 1856 which he enlarged to a grand single storey house in 1866. He sold it in 1883 when new owners added an upper floor.

Dunedin. Bacchus Bar on the Octagon. Built in 1880 as the Australia and New Zealand Bank. Superb classical details. Architect was Robert Lawson. At the end of Stuart Street is the 1906 Dunedin Railway Station and clock tower.

Goolwa Railway Station. The first station was near the rotunda in the middle of town from around 1853. This station was erected on the wharf around 1884 when steam trains began operating thourgh to Adelaide. Steamranger tourist trains operated from here.

Aldgate. A fine stone Wesleyan Methodist church designed by Adelaide architect Daniel Garlick. Opened in 1884. Closed and sold by the Uniting Church in 1984.

Eudunda. Advertising on the old water tower needed for the steam engines. Frys Cocoa and Burfords Candles and Soap. Next to the Viterra grain silos. The railway closed many years ago and has been vandalised.

Balaklava. Werocata homestead. The classical style facade . Built around 1864 with these Italianate bay window rooms added about 1883. STeps and entrance reminiscent of that at Martindale Hall. The steps led down to an ornamental boating lake in 1883.
