Maleny in the hinterlands of the Sunshine Coast. The volcanic landscape of the Glasshouse Mountains from Mary Cairncross Park. The volcanic soils are used for growing pineapples. Named by Captain James Cook in 1770.

Colac. Near Lake Colac is this beautiful 1883 built single storey house called the Elms. In Gellibrand Street. Now a bed and breakfast establishment.

Albury. The Australian Federation movemenn had its origins in this region. A federation era shop from 1912 with the Australian coat of arms on the corner facade.

Robe. The old Bush Inn built in 1852 and licensed from 1855. It existed for the teasters bringing bales of wool into the port of Robe on Guichen Bay.

Hammond. Ghost town of the Willochra Plains. The ruins of William Hudson's stone house and fireplace. He was the first Post Master and then grain buyer in the 19th century town.

Robe. Rocky coastline and Cape Dombey Light beacon. It was erected in 1855 after several shipwrecks in Guichen Bay.

Kapunda. South Australian copper mining town from 1842 to 1878. One of many stone villa houses from the 1880s with wonderful cast iron lace work on the veranda cast in the Hawke Foundry of Kapunda.

Kapunda. The rose window of St Rose Catholic church. It was built in 1938 but the first catholic Church was built nearby at Koonunga in 1850. First Catholic Church in Kapunda was built 1862 demolished 1946.

Kapunda. The first home of Sir Sidney Kidman and his wife Isabel. They lived here from 1897 to 1902. They called the house Bald Hill House. It was built around 1870 with crenullations above the entrance.
