This is what is left of the Crooked Billet Hotel in Nairne. Built im 1845. It is behind the Millers Arms Hotel. It closed in 1860. Early Council meetings for Nairne were held in this Georgian style building.

Mount Gambier. Proprietor of the Border Watch newspaper occupeid this house. It was built around 1877. Mr Laurie the newspaper man lived here until 1884 but his family repurchased the house in 1920.

Mount Gambier. St Andrews Presbyterian Church. Built 1871 it replced an earlier 1860 church. Built in local pink dolomite. Front entrance added 1902. A focal point of Mt Gambier.
