Cootamundra. Cootamundra West railway station. A line opened from here to Termora in 1893. This grand station was built in 1911 and closed to passengers in 1983.

Weethalle. The old railway station now a small cafe. Behind is the fine town hotel. The railway reached here in 1923. Town established 1921 for soldier settlers from WW1.

Temora. The convent next to the outstanding Catholic Church. The convent was built about 1890. The Sisters of St Joseph started a catholic school in 1887.A priest began a catholic school in Temora in 1881.

Galong. Fine carved marble statue in the Galong cemetery. For a member of the O'Neil family from Ireland.

Galong. The western end of the Redemptorists monastery at Galong on what was Ned Ryans land. Built in 1918. A boys school was run here as well. 250 priests and monks lived here. The monastery closed in 1975.

Albury. The magnificent railway station where once passengers changed trains on the trip between Melbourne and Sydney. Built in 1862 in Italianate style. First through train between the capitals in 1962.

Griffith. Zecca cafe. An Art Deco building with granite base and steps. Cement rendered entry and red brick walls. Built for the Commonwealth Bank and opened in 1923. Few banks have clock.

Galong. The former convent built in 1910 for sisters to run a Catholic School. Later it became St Lawrences Nursing Home and church. All established in the early 1920s. Now closed except for the church.
