| 説明 | The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyard Administration (GIPSA) uses this FGWX700000 test car unit to calibrate railroad track scales that are used to weigh grain and other agricultural products at the USDA GIPSA Master Scale Depot in Chicago, IL on Jul. 2, 2013. USDA GIPSA entered into an agreement with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the Association of American Railroads (AAR) in 1980 transferring responsibility to USDA’s GIPSA to maintain the Master Scale facility in Chicago, IL and calibrate all the master scales in the continental U.S. annually.
