| 説明 | Details: Shot with a Nikon N6006 f5.6, @ 240 secondsFuji Superia ISO 100 filmShot this (Southern Cross) at the request of judyboy, while I happened to be down under. It was dark-ish in this direction, so I opened it up for 240, then 300 seconds. Did not realize the effect though, that the subtle lighting from the sodium vapor lights about 500 yards behind me, would have though until I got these back. Will try to make it over there again and redo at 120, 180 seconds...I'm in Fremantle, Western Australia for work... the full moon happens to be in town while I'm here, so with a little help from a colleague at work (many thanks for the evaluation of the Manfrotto), I was able to get out and take a few shots of the Australian sky.Monument Hill - This 11 acre 'A' class, heritage listed reserve has been designed as an integral part of the Central War memorial. The main memorial at 14m in height is constructed from Donnybrook stone, was built and funded by the citizens of Fremantle in 1928 to commemorate the 59,330 Australians killed or posted as missing in action in WW1. |
