| 説明 | Crew aboard the Office of Naval Research (ONR) sponsored Research Vessel (R/V) Melville launch a wave buoy from the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) during an at-sea demonstration of the Environmental & Ship Motion Forecasting (ESMF) program. The ESMF program seeks to provide sea-based military and civilian ship and cargo system operators with seaway environmental forecasting, in order to predict ship motions and determine windows of opportunity for inter/intra ship material and personnel movement.
