| 説明 | Third Snow . WMATA . Waterfront Station, SW . WDC . Thursday afternoon, 15 December 2005Having started my Snow 3 project just before 4 PM which was the approximate time that I'd catch the greeenline from Waterfront Station at www.flickr.com/photos/perspective/74110520/, I'd arrive back at Waterfront Station just just before 5:15 PM. In the case of the Snow Projects, unless I would forget, when entering and exiting a station, it had been my practice to inquire of the WMATA kiosk attendant if I may photograph "... just the clock ..." for documentary purposes, pertaining to my ongoing snow projects.For the most post, once they'd realize that I was not photographing them and since, many of the attendants knew who I was and that I almost always carried a camera theire response was '... as long as you don't take a picture of me, you can do what you want ...". As was the case with the attendant at the Waterfront Station, at 5:12 PM, on Thursday afternoon, 15 December 2005.In recent weeks, when I'd pass throguh the gate at Waterfront Station, I would comment to the kiosk attendant(s) that once down on the platform that I may would take a few pictures of the holiday billboard displays www.flickr.com/photos/perspective/81169316/ and the train 'schedule signs' www.flickr.com/photos/perspective/97114416/.Having lived in the area since November 2001 and like many folks, they were very aware that I usually carried a camera.More importantly, they new that I lived in the community and that I was not a terrorist.
