| 説明 | A few sites in the sagebrush steppe near Mountain Home have intact soil crusts including mosses (e.g., Tortula ruralis), lichens, and microbial communities. Even so, such vegetation still includes annual exotics (e.g., Ceratocephala testiculata) and annual natives (e.g., Vulpia microstachys var. pauciflorus - with glabrous lemmas). Bromus tectorum (cheatgrass) represents only one of many annual species in this system. This site along highway 20 on the northwest side of Mountain Home, Elmore County, Idaho. |
