| 説明 | The Otis Elevator Company Building in San Francisco (1924). Its construction coincidently coincided with the company's development of the Signal Control Syte, a method to make elevator stops and speeds automatic. By 1924, Otis had offices in over 100 cities. along with offices in Portland and Los Angeles, this office served the entire West Coast including Nevada, Arizona, Alaska, and Hawaii. It became a service and maintanence depot in the 1930s when skyscraper construction more-or-less came to a halt. Otis remained in the building until 1969. |
