| 説明 | ARABIAN SEA (Aug. 27, 2013) Lt. Col. Joseph Reedy, commanding officer of the Checkerboards of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 312, takes off in his F/A-18C Hornet from the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). Reedy's launch was the first sortie flown by Carrier Air Wing 3 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom during the 2013 deployment. Harry S. Truman, the flagship for the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group, is deployed supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
