Bronze / bronze.Tony Cragg's sculptures look abstract at first sight but often you will begin to see smiling faces in them after a while.I took this image with an uncoated lens from 1935, a "Summar f=5cm 1:2" (as it is marked) by Ernst Leitz Wetzlar. I find this a remarkable piece of vintage equipment since the lens is beautifully made and produces images which are soft and sharp at the same time. |
