| 説明 | St Ippolyts Church, St Ippolyts, Hertfordshire (Grade I), and the war memorial. I believe it's the only church in the UK dedicated to St Hippolytus, the patron saint of horses. During the Middle Ages, sick horses were brought to St Ippolyts to be blessed.Hertfordshire GOC's 10 August 2013 walk, which was an 11-mile circular walk from Hitchin, visiting Little Wymondley, Todd's Green, Titmore Green, St Ippolyts and Ashbrook. Some of the sights included the River Purwell, Purwell Meadows, Purwell Ninesprings, Ippolitts Brook, Ash Brook, Wymondley Transforming Station, Wandsworth Common and churches in Little Wymondley and St Ippolyts.
