| 説明 | In the grounds of Winchester Cathedral. Was just nice to have a look around the grounds. Many tourists here. Decided against going inside. Anyway I'd already been into the Great Hall of Winchester Castle, so didn't need to go into the cathedral.Pilgrims' SchoolThe Pilgrims' School is a preparatory school for some 200 boys aged 7 to 13, including the 22 Choristers of Winchester Cathedral and the 16 Quiristers (the Chapel choir boys) of Winchester College.Boarding and day pupils are admitted.There is also a pre-prep department. Grade I listed building.The Old Stables, Winchester 1. 1833 THE CLOSE The Old Stables SU 4829 SW 6/47 24.3.50 I GV 2. Probably early C16 modernized. Timber framed with brick infill on ground floor, plaster above. Two storeys and attics. Large entrance under timber arch in middle of side, now blocked. Tiled roof with three gabled dormers.
