| 説明 | Looking west along West Grand Street at Roskie Hall (white towers centered on dark brown) and South Hedges Hall (white rectangular building, right) on the campus of Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana.North and South Hedges Halls were built from 1964 to 1965. They are named for Cornelius Hedges, who served four terms as Superintendent of Schools in the Montana Territory and is known as the "father of education in Montana".Roskie Hall was built in 1966. It is unique in that it features three circular buildings built around a common core. All rooms in Roskie Hall are pie-shaped. The structure is named for Gertrude Roskie, chair of the Department of Home Economics and later Dean of the Division of Professional Schools. She died in an automobile accident in the fall of 1963.Both Hedges and Roskie have both gender-segregated and co-ed floors, as well as floors just for freshmen and floors where students with similar majors live together. Both dormitories feature a convenience store, weight training rooms, computer labs, laundry facilities, and is wi-fi enabled. Miller Dining Hall, located between North and South Hedges, serves all three dormitories. |
