| 説明 | Socks to raw mangoes to clothing to bags, it's all in here, in the street market in Quiapo in the area behind Quiapo church. You see stalls with several levels of prosperity here: the more permanent stalls have tarps or plastic sheets for shade tied above them. Smaller stalls use parasols while the smallest of enterprises just operate with the poor stall owner braving the hot tropical sun, as this chap selling raw mangoes in the foreground. Real hard working folks, these FIlipinos. Street markets in India are quite similar As I said, everyone was too busy with their own preoccupations to bother with me and my open dSLR camera hanging around my neck, which made me smirk even more strongly at the wild west picture of Manila painted rather vocally by my Filipina colleague.
