| 説明 | Longmont residents on north Collyer and north Meadow streets voted to make their streets deadend streets. This prevents Wal-Mart traffic from cutting through their residential streets. Note the cyclists riding on SH 66 beyond the barricades in this photo.Collyer Street was the main north-south route for cyclists headed onto State Highway 66. Unfortunately, little provision was made for cyclist access across this new blockage. A sidewalk is being installed going east (to the right in this photo) which will allow pedestrians easy access across SH 66 at a signalized crosswalk. I suppose cyclists will be expected to use these facilities also. |
