| 説明 | A walk down Quay Hill, then Quay Street towards Lymington Harbour.Quay Street leads from the bottom of Quay Hill towards the harbour.On the left is Hide and Seek, followed by Karina's. Beyond is The Bluebird Restaurant.On the right is Bubbles and Beads, followed by Humbug (an ice cream shop).Buildings are all Grade II listed.The Old Solent Inn, Lymington and Pennington1.5235 QUAY HILL(East End)----------The Old Solent InnSZ 3295 1/55 22.12.53.II GV2.Early c18. No longer used as an Inn. White painted brick facade with flankingpilasters. Cornice and parapet. Tiled roof, 2 storeys, 4 windows and 1 blank,sashes with glazing bars. Centre doorway with pilasters pediment and semi-circularfanlight. Door of 6 moulded panels. To the south-east is a small C19 shop frontnot now used as such. Consists of 2 arched lights each side of door with similarlights, all under common cornice.The listed buildings on Quay Hill with the pavement surface and bollards form a groupof Grade II* quality for their shop fronts.Listing NGR: SZ3271395630No 6 and Band of Stone Paving on West Sides, Lymington and Pennington 1. 5235 QUAY STREET (East Side) ----------- No 6 and band of stone paving on west aides SZ 3295 1/483 II GV 2. C18. Painted brick facade with brick eaves cornice and tiled roof . 2 storeys, 1 window, sashes with glazing bars, those of ground floor with cambered head lining. Door has bracketed hood, possibly added. Nos 4 to 6 (consec) the Quay Street paving form a group with Nos 1 to 3 (consec) and the Bird Cage opposite.
