| 説明 | CLINTON, N.C. – Cheers met cadets of the North Carolina National Guard's Tarheel ChalleNGe Academy at their graduation ceremony at the Sampson County Agri-Exposition Center here, June 14. The pomp and circumstance of a traditional graduation blended with the discipline of a military style academy. The military-style boarding school in Salemburg, N.C. is run by the NCNG for high school age at risk youth who join the program. Intensive class work prepares the students for their taking a GED test (a nationally recognized high school-equivalency credential) and future schooling. “I do not reckon I could be more proud,” said Owen Willis, father of Cadet Thomas Bowles.
