| 説明 | Introduced, warm-season, perennial, low-growing herb; long robust stolons (may be buried 2-5 cm) produce roots and usually one leaf at each node. Leaves are circular, bluntly toothed and up to 10cm wide, with the stalks attach to the centre of the underside.Flowerheads are umbrella-like clusters (to 6 cm wide) of small, creamy white flowers. Flowering is from early spring to autumn.A native of South America, it is found on coastal dunes, along creeks and swamp edges, and other areas where there is moist sandy soil near the coast. A minor weed of moist pastures; more so in bush regeneration sites. Small segments of plants are capable of regeneration. |
