| 説明 | Street Life . Union Station . First Street just off Massachusetts Avenue, NE . WDC . Sunday afternoon, 22 January 2006En route to the Supreme Court hoping to capture the National Organization for Women (NOW) 33rd March for Life Counter Demonstration I'd happen upon this man sitting on a wall just outside of the Union Station Subway Station. When I inquired if I may photograph him he was very receptive and said yes. I'd reach into my pocket and pull out what little change I had. Handing it to him I said that I wished that I had more, but, that I'd make it a point to return in a couple of days for the purpose of returning the favor. While taking a few pictures, of him, I'd ask where he was from and how long had he been in WDC. He said that he was from Pittsburgh and that he had been in WDC for more than 20 years.I'd immediately think of the photographer btezra at www.flickr.com/photos/btezra/ who is from Pittsburgh. And then I'd remember Tom Kerr who I had met in March 1984 at the Everhard Bathouse in NYC and with whom I'd have an relationship with for several years. For a brief period of time, over the summer of 1984 when Tom (who was from Pittsburgh) needed a place to stay I would let him stay with me in my apartment in the West Village. Tom and I had some good times.When I asked if the mark under his right eye was a black eye he said yes and that he had gotten into a scuffle some weeks back.
