| 説明 | This gall is a recent introduction to the UK. It is now common and widespread in Kent. This is the sexual generation gall and it develops on the young acorns Quercus cerris. It is very conspicuous on the twigs when fresh. The adults emerge in June and the gall is already host to a number of chalcid parasitoids.The species name has recently been changed to Pseudoneuroterus saliens. |
