| 説明 | SINGAPORE (May 19, 2013) Chief Firecontrolman Reo Logan assigned to USS Freedom (LCS 1) helps a visitor operate the bridge quartermaster's binoculars during a Republic of Singapore Navy Open House, May 19. Freedom hosted more than 5,000 visitors during the open house. The ship recently arrived in Singapore as part of a deployment to Southeast Asia. Fast, agile and mission-focused, littoral combat ships are designed to operate in near-shore environments and employ modular mission packages that can be configured for surface warfare, mine countermeasures, or anti-submarine warfare.
