| 説明 | The little one, the Garisenda tower, is the one that Dante was always going on about. It was more than 10 metres taller in those days, but had to be shortened when it started leaning dangerously in the 1300s. Dante would stare up and watch the clouds go by. It would make him go all giddy--so much so that he forgot to eye up the ladies, which when he reflected on it in tranquility made him mad! |
