| 説明 | This species is commonly called "Oak Apple". The gall appears in spring in May. The gall grows quickly until it is the size of a small apple. It often has reddish patches that no doubt are one reason for its English name. The adult wasps emerge in June the same year. The gall community is large with several species of inquilines and parasitoids. A fresh young gall still in development. |
