| 説明 | The oldest part of the Bromsgrove School campus, on Worcester Road in Bromsgrove.Grade II listed.Bromsgrove School, Bromsgrove WORCESTER ROAD 1. 909 (South East Side) Bromsgrove School (Formerly listed as King Edward VI School) SO 9570 SE 1/80 28.4.52. II 2. Circa 1695. 4 windows, 3 storeys and attic. Elevation facing the street has good central entrance of painted stonework, having curved pediment entablature with pulvinated frieze, carved console brackets and moulded architrave. Double four fielded-panel oak doors. Walls much obscured by ivy, but they appear to be mainly of late C17 brickwork with moulded stone base and stone quoins. Varying windows, only 1 early sash window remains, the rest appear to be later insertions. C19 brick corbel at eaves. Dormers and Welsh slate roof. Listing NGR: SO9568470276 |
