| 説明 | Chevrolet Phaeton 1929In 1928 Ford gained a sales edge with the introduction of its new four cylinder Model A but this was countered in 1929 by Chevrolet making a six cylinder engine standard for all models. Their advertising claimed “A six for the price of a four”. By 1929 the open top tourers - which had dominated sales for both companies in earlier years - were largely superseded by two and four door sedans. Consequently only 8532 these phaetons were built, which was a very small proportion of Chevrolet’s total output of 1.2 million vehicles that year. The World of WearableArt & Classic Cars Museum is a museum devoted to wearable art and classic cars located in Nelson, New Zealand, opened in October 2001.
