| 説明 | Seen at St Isaac’s cathedral in St Petersburg – July 2006One of three pairs of similar doors into the cathedral on the north, south & western sides. Each door is 11 metres (over 36 feet) in height and is made from cast bronze overlaid on single sections of oak. Each pair of doors weigh approximately 20 tons and need assistance from levers built into the walls to facilitate opening and closing. |
