| 説明 | Tai Wai Station is an interchange station on the East Rail Line and the Ma On Shan Line of the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) system in Hong Kong. The station was originally opened in 1983 as an intermediate station of East Rail Line. In 2001, the station underwent expansion and construction ended in September 2004. The new concourse part was opened at first in the same month. Since 21 December 2004, the station has served as the terminus of the Ma On Shan Line, as well as the interchange station between these two lines. [1].Pictured is the super long escalator which leads passengers from the ground station level to the platform. To cope with large amount of passenger traffic, most escalators go up only, and the exit going down are usually in the forms of staircases.I usually try to leave photographs in colors when they work.
