NGC7000: 24 x 5m = 2 hours ISO 1600, f2.8. Total exposure = 5hours 20m Filter: Astronomik CLSCamera: Hutech-modified Canon T1i/500DLens: Contax/Yashica (Carl Zeiss) 85mm f/2.8Mount: Astro-Physics AP900Guiding: ST-402 autoguider through TV-102iis guidescope, Maxim DL autoguiding software with 6-second guide exposuresProcessing: Raw conversion and calibration with ImagesPlus; Aligning and combining with Registar. Final processing in Photoshop -- levels adjustment, cropping to 4752x3168 to remove ragged edges from alignment. Two panels combined into a mosaic using AutoPano Pro 2 (Mercator projection, SmartBlend). The mosaic was reduced to 2/3 size and then converted to 8-bit mode and JPEG, etc. with Photoshop.Remarks: 2011/07/01 (IC1318): Temperature start/end = 50F/49F; Humidity start/end 72%/68%; SQM-L reading start/end = 21.37/20.99 (sunrise?) 2012/09/19 (NGC7000): Temperature at start = 46F; Humidity at start = 71%; SQM-L reading at start = 21.37This is just the combination of two earlier images already uploaded, one from 2011 and one from 2012. |
