| 説明 | The charity Inspired By People supports the most vulnerable people in developing countries by partnering with local organisations that need additional support to make existing projects sustainable and successful. They particularly focus on empowering women and children in Nepal, India and Malawi.In Malawi they support Ripple Africa with educational projects and local initiatives that support the natural environment. In this photograph you see a group of women that have been introduced to the possibility of making an energy efficient stove. This easy to build stove, reduces the use of wood with 70% and is a much safer stove for families, reducing the risk of burns and accidents with children. The women pictured were very enthusiastic about the presentation and couldn't wait to make one for themselves. In many cases women are commissioned to build these stoves for families, giving them the opportunity to earn money and support their families. |
