| 説明 | (from TGV Lille-Paris; A5 khadi paper and water; gouache, earth, chalk, acacia gum, ink, white pen)This is not "mixed" media, but personal cooking (let's call it the "dry-wet technique"). When you make your own paintings (whatever is the vehicle, oil, acryl, soap, glue, butter…), there is no sensible distance between dry earth for pottery, and a delicate shade of Sienna in gouache. Same pigments are then available in a dry or a wet form. Other example, white chalk is usually added to gouache and pastel, why not put it yourself ? A white shadow drawing on a white paper is a non invasive sketch you can mix with gouache (less expensive than watercolor). |
