| 説明 | On 21 January 2013, Helmand Afghanistan Technical Vocational Institute (HATVI) held a graduation ceremony for its students in the Provincial Governor’s compound in Lashkar Gah. Over 80 local nationals attended, including the Provincial Governor, Mayor, Directors and Deputy Directors of line ministries, students who participated in the summer and Fall capacity building courses, and HATVI faculty. Abdullah Haaid, HATVI Capacity Building Director, gave a speech on HATVI and its role in the province. He emphasized the need to strengthen capacity in the line ministries and pointed out success stories since the first classes were held in summer 2012. Now Directors and Deputy Directors are seeing the value in attending courses because their staff has improved skills and are more efficient on the job. |
