| 説明 | The lake by which we had lunch. It apparently has no name, and on hertsdirect.com it's just called "pond". We decided to name it "Latchford Lake". It's a man-made lake next to the River Rib. Tufted Ducks and Mallards can be found here - I photographed a female Tufted here in August 2012 (piloting the walk) and saw a male the week before this (final test).Hertfordshire GOC's 12 January 2013 walk, starting and ending in Braughing and visiting Standon, Latchford and Puckeridge while following the River Rib. It was very muddy! I took lots of photos on the walk so please check out the other photos in the set! |
