| 説明 | This is a "RITA" system antenna used to create a wireless voice/data network over a wide area. The frequency range is SHF (Super High Frequency) with a gain between 21 and 34 db. "RITA" is a french acronym for "Réseau Intégré de Transmission Automatisé" (Integrated Automatic Transmittion Network).This system is in use in Libya providing communications networks to French forces deployed throughout Libya on training and reconnaissance missions.Libya recently agreed to massive cooperation between French and Libyan military. The French military now provides training, equipment, and intelligence to Libyan forces fighting against Chad in the south of Libya as well as providing intelligence to Libyan commanders on the activities of Nigerian Islamist militias operating near the border with Libya. |
