| 説明 | During my beach walk Saturday morning I came across this green and white gazebo that stands on what is left of a boardwalk. Given the destruction along New Jersey’s beaches, this gazebo really stood out, inviting me to photograph it in all its defiance to the storm.Sunday I learned that the Sandy Hook Elementary School colors are green and white, and the wearing green and white ribbons was beginning. In a show of solidarity students across the country wore green and white today, Monday, thanks to a movement fueled by social media.I’d like to think that this gazebo represents the need to stand strong in the face of adversity and its green and white honors those 26 lives lost so senselessly. |
