I went out to lake Pleasant where I took my star trail image but the road was closed. My original plan was to take this on a helipad but this worked quite well. This was a combination of two photos one with a long exposure in order to get the silhouette in the back and the other with the steel wool. I wanted to get star trails in this but I didn’t have time. I really like the motion in this and the depth. I think this is better than just a picture with a black background. The clarity of the photo is surprising to me since this was my first time and I have traditionally struggled focusing in the dark. I really like the value in this and I tried making it black and white but I like the color in the steel wool. |
