| 説明 | Common dandelion (Taraxacum officinale), Aster family (Asteraceae).My backyard, Cottonwood Heights, Utah.It looks very pretty on the dull-green grass lawn. However, people don't like for some reason and try to kill it by any means. The latter is not easy task, though, because the dandelion is a perennial plant and is very competetive. There are some chemicals, that make it overgrow and die. I used it for several years successfully, but this has also a side effect. It accumulates in the soil and kills whatever I am trying to plant at the lawn boundary. I have to replace the soil for this. |
