In addition, though this particular Plymouth is not a convertible, the rear details are exactly those of the 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe Convertible.www.remarkablecars.com/main/plymouth/plymouth-00043.html1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe Convertible 217 cid L-head in-line six-cylinder engine rated at 97 horsepower, three-speed manual transmission, four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes; wheelbase: 118.5" Although it was considered one of the "low-priced-three," Plymouth continued to deliver great styling, economy and value for its customers. After a totally new model had come out in the middle of the 1949 season, the biggest change for 1950 was an entirely new grille plus fresh ornamentation. For the Special Deluxe models, interiors were decorated with simulated wood-graining on the dashboard and plenty of room to drive or ride in comfort.
