| 説明 | O bairro da Itinga era uma antiga fazenda, onde os moradores receberam suas propriedades em troca de trabalho e lá moram até hoje. O Japuiba.com esteve no bairro Itinga situada no Bracuhy, próximo a Rio Santos, entre o mar e as montanhas, no dia 07/2/11. O bairro se encontra em crescimento, mas já possui um variado comércio, como: padarias, mercados, bares, restaurantes e uma bonita pousada à beira mar. Ao longo da rodovia podemos ver os caranguejeiros, moradores do bairro, vendendo os seus caranguejos, e também os índios com seus artesanatos. Itinga é local ideal para turistas usufruírem da praia que é cercada por diversos quiosques. Nesse dia da visita, chegou-nos a informação de que o bairro está recebendo a pavimentação de suas ruas e muitos moradores comemoraram a notícia e demonstraram a preocupação com o crescimento ordenado e o planejamento habitacional. Segundo os moradores, há ainda alguns trechos em Itinga que precisam de iluminação pública e o grande impasse é descobrir de quem é a responsabilidade, já que a concessionária de energia da cidade diz que a responsabilidade é da prefeitura e esta diz que não é possível instalar os geradores. Assim, muitos moradores usam energia de terceiros, pois não possuem postes de baixa tensão. Vemos em Itinga um bairro promissor, que só precisa de maior atenção, como infraestrutura para os atuais moradores, pensando nos futuros, pois com os riscos de se morar em morros devido às fortes chuvas que vem abatendo as encostas, é cada vez mais nítida a debandada da população para áreas planas em bairros periféricos. As crianças precisam de áreas de lazer e a estrada que corta o bairro, de quebra-molas. Localizado cerca de 25 km do centro de Angra dos Reis, Itinga tem como uma das atrações a vista belíssima do Pico do Frade, que pertence ao Parque Nacional da Serra da Bocaina, sendo o pico mais alto do município, com 1578 metros de altitude. Com acesso direto pelo Condomínio Bracuhy, através da Praia de Itinga, os moradores e turistas podem ver as ruínas do antigo engenho do Bracuhy e uma das maiores marinas da nossa região. Pode-se também fazer um passeio pelo caminho dos índios, lembrando que o acesso à tribo é restrito. No Bracuhy, ainda é possível encontrar um Quilombola, que faz parte da história dessa cidade com 509 anos. Entre Itinga e o Condomínio Bracuhy fica a Morada do Bracuhy, que foi criada pela prefeitura municipal com apoio do governo estadual e federal para atender às vítimas da chuva em 2002, quando o bairro Areal foi atingido por um deslizamento de terra, fazendo vítimas fatais.------------------------------------------------------The neighborhood of Itinga was an old farm, where residents received their property in exchange for work and live there to this day.
