| 説明 | Handmade 18 karat yellow gold ring with a very deep faceted cushion shape Aquamarine just under 23 carats. We buried it in this design and surrounded it with a waterfall of 21 flawless and colorless diamonds with a combined weight of 1.70 carats on this side (the stone is tipped and turned in the setting). Because the client insisted on the mounting being made in all 18kt. yellow gold, the degree of difficulty was way over the top. Jose' Trillos (head of the Cartier shop in NY before opening his own business) made this ring by hand, refusing to give an estimate other than 'it will be Very Expensive'. Our client went for it and we waited six weeks for the stunning results. If you make this photo large you will see the shank is split all of the way around the back of the finger. Not often do we get that kind of drama in the jewelry design business! Yes, she loved it. |
