| 説明 | IMAGE INFO- Early morning panoramic viewpoint is centered looking west-south-west from Bulong Road (north-east of Kalgoorlie) towards the huge, man-made mountains of waste material created from "Active Slimes" tailings extracted from the Kalgoorlie Super-Pit gold mine.- Twenty years on, Google Earth shows those "Active Slimes" mountains have rapidly grown right up to the very edge of the mining lease along Bulong Road. Consequently, the expansive view you can see in this historic panorama is no longer possible. *****************************SOURCE INFO- The original images were captured using a hand-panned CANON EOS-1 SLR camera with AGFA XRG 100 35mm color film & a TAMRON 28-300mm AF Zoom lens.*****************************PROCESS INFO- Digitized using a CANON Canoscan 8800F scanner. - Panorama created by stitching 5 x standard 6x4 size images using Microsoft Image Composite Editor (ICE). - Post editing & processing using Adobe Photoshop Creative Suite 8.0. Fortunately, the result exceeded my expectations. ;-) |
