| 説明 | The most wonderful spiralling grooved bark of the Castanea sativa, or Sweet Chestnut tree. Commonly planted in the 17th and 18th century, this particular tree is 160 years old, a pair on Cedar Lawn at Montacute House in Somerset. The grooves are large, each one around 2 inches across. Well, ok, not earth-shattering but I loved its texture. |
