| 説明 | Apparently based on George Gilbert Scott's 1850s competition-winning entry for a new Hamburg Rathaus (which I haven't seen), to replace the building destroyed by fire in 1842. That design was never executed, and a subsequent competition held in the 1870s resulted in a different design finally completed in 1897. |
