| 説明 | The chapel, built in the late 15th Century, sits on a small "peninsula" at the edge of the chateau grounds overlooking the town of Amboise. It contains a tomb and the presumed remains of Leonardo da Vinci, who spent his last few years in Amboise, although there is some doubt about their authenticity due to their removal from the original burial site, a church destroyed during the French Revolution. Some "scientists and historians" are attempting to have them exhumed in hopes of determining whether the Mona Lisa is a self-portrait.
