| 説明 | Looking due east ahead lies the rocky sumit ridge of Harter Fell seen from the top of Kepple Crag, the most northern summit of Birker Fell range. The ascent of Kepple Crag from the south is straightforward but it took a bit of wandering round to find a safe descent down the steep grassy slopes but after a false start I was soon below in the great bog of Foxbield Moss where the perils of cliff-edge falls are swapped for the genteel dangers of drowning among the peaty bogs! (its not really that bad). |
