| 説明 | A bottle of Python Pilsner from Nøgne Ø in Grimstad, Norway, at Håndverkerstuene in Oslo.Python Pilsner is a 9,5% abv imperial pilsner brewed with Champagne yeast. It poured a slightly hazy golden yellow color with a thin white head. It sported a fruity aroma, tangerine like, with some peppery spiciness and a mild caramel sweetness. Nice! The mouthfeel was medium heavy with a smooth carbonation. The flavor started out with a mild sweetness, ripe fruits - apples and oranges, and a light spiciness. It also had a mild bitterness, which helped to balance the sweet fruits. It had a nice, long aftertaste with lingering fruit notes.Overall a very tasty and good beer, but a far cry from pilsner. It reminded me of Weihenstephaner & Sam Adams' Infinium, so it would be more natural to call this a fruity strong lager or even a Belgian strong. |
