The alarm clock rang at 4.45am. My eyes pinged up and I immediately thought 'Oh crap, I'm coming down with something'. I didn't feel good. Admittedly it could have been the early hour. I don't like anything before 7am.After dragging myself out of bed, I suddenly realised I wasn't sick, I was feeling the effects of a two-day hangover. Granted I drank a lot on Saturday, but a two-day hangover is a bit much for a man of my young ageI got ready and left the house with no shoes on. I don't usually do that. I was then starting to think that maybe it was early onset Alzheimer's rather than a hangover. I do get names mixed up a lot. Does Alzheimer's make you feel sick?I remembered my camera equipment. The weather forecast told a little white lie. It was a tad cloudy, but nothing too serious.I'd actually made a commitment to myself to retake the shots I took of Tynemouth in January and do the place more justice than last time around.Today's Photo - Tynemouth Pier.There's a fence to the right of here. That's where my real destination was - over that fence. Sadly a police car had positioned itself on the hill adjacent, and its passengers were eyeing me the whole time. I decided not to climb over it. I will next week though. |
