I was not sure if it was alright to go into the field or not but since no one was home I took a chance and managed to get this shot.The range lights were discontinued around 1970. This the front range light was relocated to the field after it was decommissioned.Location: Lower L'Ardoise east coast of Cape Breton IslandTower Height: 6.7 meters (22ft)Characteristic: Fixed red light, visible for 6 nautical milesDescription of Tower: White, square, wooden towerThis light is not operationalDate Established: 1909 |
