| 説明 | The entrance to the Developed Regional Parks Administration Building in Balboa Park in San Diego, California.It was constructed in the 1922 as the administration building for the Naval Hospital (yes, that was its formal name). In 1983, the U.S. Navy built a new Naval Medical Center San Diego (now Bob Wilson Naval Hospital) adjacent to its existing structures in Balboa Park. The Navy got hold of this land by engaging in a land swap in which the city got back all the Balboa Park land it had given away in 1919.All but four of the old Naval Hospital buildings were torn down. The Developed Regional Parks Administration took over the administration building and continues to use it to this day. |
